02/08/2010

Galveston, Texas – What better way to chill out during Spring Break than at the Moody Gardens ice skating rink? Guests of all ages are invited to take part in the coolest spring break activity along the Gulf Coast – skating across the outdoor ice rink with views of Offats Bayou.

After popular demand from the holiday season, a large, outdoor ice skating rink will be created outdoors along Offatts Bayou. Whether it’s a triple toe loop, speed skating or a first time on the ice, there is space in the rink for skaters of all abilities. So pull out those sweaters one last time before the hot summer months arrive, and spend spring break 2010 chilling out at Moody Gardens.

The ice skating rink will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 13 through 21. Admission is $5.95 for all ages, and skate rental is just $5 more. Also, guests are always welcome to bring their own ice skates. For more information, call Moody Gardens at 800-582-4673 or visit us at www.moodygardens.org.
