GALVESTON, TEXAS – The feel-good Academy Award winning animated film will transform into a multi-sensory 4D experience and premiere at Moody Gardens Saturday, March 13. This year’s spring-breakers can be the first to see Happy Feat 4D, a 3D digital movie packed with special effects like wind, mist and vibrating seats.
Happy Feet 4D Experience takes viewers on an immersive journey to Antarctica where they will meet a lively cast of penguin characters, including Mumble a heart-warming, tap dancing Emperor Penguin. When his colony of Emperor Penguins is faced with a mysterious fish famine, Mumble embarks on an amazing journey to discover the cause. Along the way, he makes friends with other comical penguins who help him realize that being true to yourself is a good thing. Ultimately, it’s Mumble’s dancing feet, bravery and determination that solves the fish famine, saves his endangered colony and wins the heart of his soul mate Gloria. Voice cast includes some of the most famous stars, such as Elijah Wood as Mumble and Brittany Murphy as Gloria.
In addition, penguin-inspired visitors can also skate around the area’s only Outdoor Ice Skating Rink starting Saturday, March 13 or meet and chill out with a real penguin in the Aquarium Pyramid.
